You can estimate the yield of a cartridge of silicone adhesive sealant by knowing your bead size requirement (size of the bead cross section and the length of the bead - V = (pi x (r squared) x l ). Lets assume you want a total bead length of 10 inches.
Here is an example:
(3.14 x (.043 squared)) x 10 = 0.0058 x 10. = 0.058 cubic inches
10 oz cartridge usable volume is (3.14 x (.95) x 8 = 22.7 cubic inches
22.7 / 0.058 = 390.8 10-inch beads
