High Temperature Heat Resistant
Heat resistant and flame retardant nylon hook and loop closure is used on a variety of assemblies such as removable sleeves and covers.
May of the hook and loop closures meet MIL 21840 and A-A-55126. Types available are I, IA, II, III and IV (which specifies the ground thickness). Class available are 1, 2, 3 and 5 (which specifies the material - Nylon, Aramid, Polyester)
The most popular color is black, but other colors are available. (color codes 3753, 3230, 3123, 3124, 3602, 3054, 3852, 106, 1565, 3453, 3364, 3368 / Class 1) (color codes 3421, 3055 / Class 2) (color codes 3422, 3056, 3230, 3368 / Class 3 & 5)
Standard spool lengths are 25 or 50 yards, depending on material type and width.
Standard widths are 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2", 2" and 4" wide - other widths are available such as 3/8", 1/2", 3", 5", 6" but may not meet the MIL spec.
