This is a rugged hose for oilfield service where full suction and working pressures are required. Not recommended for refined petroleum products. The working pressure is 150 PSI with a 4:1 safety factor.
The inner tube is a black custom elastomer compound with very low oil swell. The outer cover is a black SBR/Nitrile blend compound providing oil and ozone resistance. The hose is further reinforced with high tensile strength tire cord plies and includes a helix wire.
Temperature range for this hose is -20F to +180F. Due to the wire helix it has a vacuum rating of 30 inches HG. The outer cover is marked with " OILFIELD SUCTION HOSE NOT FOR REFINED FUELS 150PSI WP".
