Fiberglass Heat Treated Woven Gasket & Thermal Insulating Tape: High Temperature & Heat Resistant
1200°F / 648°C Continuous Exposure: Higher Intermittent
DeltaGlassä high temperature tape is heat, flame and fire resistant. Fiberglass (fibreglass or glass-fibre) woven tapes are fabricated from high quality type E fiberglass that will not burn and will withstand continuous exposure to temperatures of 1200°F / 648°C.
These tapes are heat treated to result in a very clean tape that contains no organic binders or loose fibers.
These high temperature tapes provide protection of industrial wires, cables, hoses, tube and pipe and also provide thermal insulation and personnel protection. Also used as a gasket or seal. Available as a Plain tape or Drop-Warp tape (center longitudinal yarns missing), often called a bolt-hole tape or ladder tape.
This material resists most acids and alkalis and is unaffected by most bleaches and solvents. It is flexible and conformable. For a higher degree of flexibility and conformability, consider using a knitted version of this tape.
Available thicknesses include 1/32", 1/16", 1/8", 1/4". These tapes are available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive to aid in placing the tape.
