HVBT Busbar and Switchgear High Voltage Insulation Silicone Rubber Tape
Silicone rubber self-fusing or self-amalgamating tapes have intrinsic high insulation characteristics and are used to wrap busbars in high voltage applications to minimize catastrophic events caused by inadvertent contact with foreign objects or personnel.
Tapes are available in a variety of colors in order to provide color coding identification to phase and grounding segments. Highly conformable, these tapes easily contour around joints, overlaps and fasteners, or at branch junctions and support positions.
Anti-corona and anti-arc flashover protection; High dielectric strength and volume resistivity.
High Voltage Busbar Tape (HVBT) can be used in indoor and harsh outdoor environments.
The most common tape is 2" wide, 0.020" thick, rectangular profile. Other widths and thickness are available.
